calibre for MAC
Free, open-source e-book manager: organize your library, convert formats, read, edit and send books to your e-reader.
calibre Overview
calibre is a free all-in-one e-book manager. It keeps your whole e-book library in one place, with covers, series, tags and ratings, and it fetches missing metadata and covers from the internet. It converts books between almost every format, such as EPUB, AZW3, MOBI, PDF and DOCX, sends them to Kindle, Kobo and other e-readers, and includes its own e-book viewer and a full e-book editor. calibre has been developed by Kovid Goyal since 2006.
calibre is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 license, with no ads and no paid version. The current version needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later; for older Macs, the calibre website offers the last version that still works (for example 7.26 for macOS 13 and 6.29 for macOS 11–12). New versions come out every few weeks.
